NEW SERVICE — NOW ENTERING PILOT TESTING

What might you be overlooking
in how your business operates?

A fresh outside look can help you see it sooner.

The Business Reliability Check-Up is a new, research-based service designed to help founders and business owners step back from the day-to-day and look at how their business operates with a fresh outside perspective.

The goal is simple: uncover important things that may be difficult to see from inside the business—and strengthen them before they become expensive surprises.

This isn’t another review of your marketing, finances, sales, HR or other individual business functions. Instead, the Check-Up looks across your business at how it operates—where important outcomes may depend on assumptions, people, processes, decisions, follow-through, preparation or other conditions that deserve a closer look.

See what matters more clearly

Strengthen what’s vulnerable

Build a more reliable business

Personalized and confidential.

The Check-Up is a one-to-one look at how your business operates. What you share is treated confidentially.

What could you get from a Check-Up?

The goal isn’t to produce a long list of everything you could do better.

It’s to help you identify the few things that really matter—so you can see them more clearly, decide what deserves attention, and find practical ways to make your business more reliable going forward.

That could mean catching something important sooner. Strengthening a vulnerable way of working. Preparing for something that’s changing. Or simply gaining greater confidence that you’ve taken a thoughtful look at things that are easy to miss while you’re busy running the business.

How does the Check-Up work?

1. Talk

We start with your business—not a checklist. You help me understand how the business works, what’s going well, what’s changing, what you’re trying to accomplish, and what’s on your mind.

2. Look Deeper

I use a structured, research-informed approach behind the scenes to look across how your business operates and explore things that may deserve a closer look. The process is personalized to your business, not a generic audit or one-size-fits-all list of “best practices.”

3. Strengthen.

We focus on the few observations that appear important enough to matter. Together, we explore practical ways to help you see potential trouble sooner, make important outcomes more dependable, and strengthen the business going forward.

Built from what happens in real businesses

More than 130 business owners—from e-commerce sellers and consultants to farmers, restaurants, manufacturers, tradespeople, artists, technology businesses and local service companies—shared a real mistake or setback they’d experienced.

We studied what happened, what they wished they’d recognized sooner, how they recovered, and what they changed afterward.

Many didn’t just fix the immediate problem. They put better ways of working in place that made their businesses stronger going forward.

Those hard-earned experiences helped shape the Business Reliability Check-Up—where to look, what kinds of warning signs deserve attention, and practical ways businesses have become less likely to stumble again.

In a sense, the Check-Up puts other business owners’ hindsight to work for your business—before you have to learn every lesson the hard way yourself.
